# Privacy and terms of use

This page covers both halves of the small print, and the shorter half goes first. What doliacats.com
records while you read it is one line per request in the web server's access log: the address the request
came from, the page it asked for, the moment it arrived, the browser string it carried and the page a
reader came from where the browser supplies one. That line is the complete account of a visit. The
sections below say where it goes, where it stops, and then what reading the guide does and does not
commit you to.

## Where that line goes, and where it stops

Those lines keep the guide reachable and make it possible to tell a reader from a script running
through every page at machine speed. They are read for nothing else. The log is not sold, not handed
to anyone marketing anything, not read to work out who a reader might be, and not joined to any other
record held here or anywhere else. No identifier of ours appears in it, because the guide issues none.

Everything usually listed beside a log is simply absent here. The guide is a folder of files: no
cookie, no analytics property, no advertising script, nothing embedded from another host, no form, no
account and no newsletter. There is nothing to opt out of because there is nothing switched on.

## Links that leave this guide

Every figure on the site is cited to the page it came from — a venue's documentation, its terms, a
data provider, an audit record — and those citations are printed as ordinary addresses. No tracking
parameter is attached to them and nothing of ours sits in the middle of the click.

They lead to sites this guide neither controls nor vouches for. Once you follow one, that operator's
privacy policy and cookies apply instead of this page, and several of the venues covered here measure
their visitors a great deal more closely than the guide measures its readers. Following a citation is
how a figure gets checked, which is the reason it is printed, but the step is the reader's.

## Writing to the editors

A message to editorial@doliacats.com arrives with the address it was sent from, and the two
are kept only for as long as answering takes. Where a message led to a correction they stay beside the
record of what was changed on which page. Neither joins a list, because the guide keeps none.

To be told what is held from an exchange of messages, or to have it deleted, write to the same address
and say which exchange you mean.

## Reading this guide is not taking advice

The guide is written for one decision, and it is a decision you take on your own. Nothing on it is
investment advice, legal advice or tax advice, and nothing on it is an offer, a solicitation or a
recommendation to open, close or move a position anywhere.

Perpetual futures are leveraged contracts. The margin behind a position is the whole of what stands
behind it, and on the ladders described here a small move against you closes the position with nothing
left. The editors hold no money, run no venue and are party to no agreement between a reader and a
venue named on these pages.

## Dated figures, and the venue's own terms

Every figure carries the day it was taken. Venues change fees, leverage ladders, market lists and
terms whenever they like and rarely announce it, so a page that was right in September will not stay
right; confirm a number with the venue before acting on it. Corrections, with the page address and a

Whether a venue will accept you at all depends on its own terms and on the law where you live. Every
venue in this guide shuts somebody out, the lists are not the same, and reading them is your job
rather than ours. Venue names and marks belong to their owners. Quote the guide as you like, with a
link back to the page quoted.


This guide is paid to publish, and a venue you are being walked towards may be the one who bought the walkthrough.
