# About The Switch Guide

The Switch Guide is written for one situation: you already trade perpetual futures on a centralised
exchange, and you are working out whether to move to a venue you reach by signing with your own wallet.
Every page here answers a piece of that question — what the move costs, what it asks of you, what you can
still trade afterwards, and where the money sits once it has left the exchange.

The guide covers order-book venues: hybrids that match orders on a server and record them on a chain,
rollups and app-chains that do the matching inside their own consensus, and a few oracle-priced venues
that are described but never scored, because the liquidity criterion reads a resting book they do not keep.

## Step 1 — What we read and what we measure

- Fees, market counts, leverage ladders, margin modes, sign-in, restricted jurisdictions and audit
  records are read in each venue's own documentation and terms of use. Each figure on a
  page carries the date it was read, not the date the page was edited.
- Spreads, order-book depth and price impact are ours. A script reads each public BTC perpetual order
  book every 10 minutes and the pages print the median of the successful readings together with how
  many there were. Centralised books are read the same way, on the same day, as the yardstick.
- A figure that is neither ours nor a venue's gets named where it stands: CoinMarketCap supplies
  open interest and 24-hour volume; CertiK Skynet supplies audit records. Nothing on this site is
  lifted from somebody else's write-up.
- Every ranking on the site uses the single formula set out on [how we rate](/methodology). A page
  condition decides which venues appear and which number sets their order; the weights never move
  between pages.

## Step 2 — Who pays for the guide, and what that buys

This is not an independent guide and it does not ask to be read as one. Publication here is paid
for: a venue you are walked towards on one of these pages may be the venue that bought the
walkthrough, and every table on the site should be read with that in front of you.

What the money buys is the page, not the place on it. The order of a table comes out of the weights
on [how we rate](/methodology), settled on 22 September 2026 before a venue here
was read, and the same six weights run on every page. A venue that paid finishes where those weights
put it, above or below one that did not, and the page prints the total that put it there. Every
venue carries at least two lines under what is worth knowing about it, and that list is not
shortened for anybody.

The arrangement stops at the figures. Depth, spread and price impact are our own readings, and the
rest is quoted from a venue's own documentation with the date it was read. A venue that dislikes a
number can send us the published page that contradicts it and we will correct the number. It cannot
buy the score.

## Step 3 — What this guide does not do

We do not give investment advice, manage money, run signals or place trades for readers. Perpetual
futures are leveraged contracts: a position can lose the whole margin behind it, and at the top of a
leverage ladder that takes a move of a fraction of one per cent.

We also do not publish what we have not measured. There is no withdrawal time and no support response
time on these pages, because testing either one means opening an account and moving money, and this
guide does neither.

## Step 4 — The doliacats.com domain

This domain carried an unrelated consumer project until its hosting lapsed in March 2023. The Switch
Guide has no connection to that project, to its name or marks, to its token or artwork, and to none of
the people who ran it. Nothing here is a relaunch, a successor or a refund desk, and no request about
the old project can be answered from this address.

## Step 5 — Corrections

Write to editorial@doliacats.com. A correction needs three things: the page address, the figure
you think is wrong, and a link to the source that shows the right one. Pages that change carry a new
date and a line saying what moved.

Scores on this site run from 0 to 30 on one set of weights, fixed 22 September 2026 before a venue was scored.
